Cindy treated us to a weekend at Wentworth Bye the Sea. The real treat was being with Cindy and Chris

Traveled to Florida to see Kim, daughter of Sue, perform in Sound of Music. Saw Jupiter lighthouse. Ate at Dolphin Bar and Shrimp House which was formerly owned by singer/actress Frances Langford. Sandy gathered shells.

We visited Linda in Florida. Because of failing health, she was in the hospital the entire time we were there. We also visited a turtle rescue center. There was a nice beach across the street.

Wanda came to NC in November and got her dog Hope

We celebrated Sandy's 75th birthday on the Island of Ocracoke

Hurricane Mathew cause widespread flooding in eastern NC. We led the storm to Lumberton, but were stranded there 4 days by flooding.
More that half of our Ash pines were bent over, but we recovered most of them by staking.

1 - 3) This year we focused on building our new house because living in the Inn has proven to be problematic.
4, 5) We have a new Maine Coon Cat called Pumpkin.

2014
1) Rick refinished the floor of the Inn's event center.
2) Dick designed a house which will be built on a portion of the Inn's 26 acres.
3) We spent a week on McGee Island off the coast of Maine with Dick’s ex-brother-in-law and his great blended family.

1) In February we headed to Panama where we rented a car and explored.
2) Rick and I installed a septic system almost as long as a football field at the Inn.
3) Most of the Inn was roofed
4) Oue company LSF Inc.bought the 115 acres that is across the stree from the Inn.
5, 6) In October we spent 28 days in Madagascar and Kenya

1) In June we purchase Lake Shore Farm Inn. It has 32 guest rooms, a bar /game room that can host 70 people, and an Event Center that can host 200 people.
