CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand
Of the cities we visited in New Zealand, Christchurch would be where we would choose to live. Small enough so you can walk to most places and the River Avon meanders through the city. Lots of green acres have been provided for the public to walk along the river.

On our city tour we were also taken to the suburbs where we saw a shipping terminal and a nice beach.
Our City Tour Guide dropped us off at the Antarctic Center. Expeditions fly from this area to the Antarctic, plus there are educational displays and fund things to do. We are shown bundled up because the room is 15 degrees F and has a howling wind.
