DICK DANIELS and SANDY COLE's World

DICK     SANDY     DICK and SANDY     TRAVEL

AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND

QUEENSTOWN, NZ

1) Millennium Hotel  2) View from our window  3) View from across the street.

The city tour took us up a high hill and we also saw the Shoot-Over River.

This claims to be the first bungy site.

On the city tour we also went into a wine cave. That is, all but Dick who looked for birds.

Arrowtown, which is on the outskirts of Queenstown was a gold mining town. Now it is cute for tourists.

Sandy, being a gold mining aficionado, we came back another day to try to strike it rich.

Dick being a bird nut, we also visited Kiwi Wildlife Park.

Queenstown has a beautiful setting and makes its living from tourists - both in the summer and winter.

3) The rings on this tree commemorate the height of two different floods. Since the lake is miles long, that was a heck of
a lot of water.

2, 3) Sandy went into an underwater viewing area that is part of the tourist boat dock.
That's a New Zealand Scaup which is moving through the water so gracefully.
And the fish is a large trout. Another of many species that were introduced into this country.
