These criteras and one flower were all photographed in Australis. The bats were found in trees near the Sydney botanical garderns. Others were see, but not photographed in Cairns. In Cairns, we saw tens of thousand of these large fox fly one moonlit night. They are three times as large as the bats we are used to and because of this their wings beat much more slowly.
These kangaroos were all in the wild, about an hour from Melbourne.
The first photo is a a koala in captivity. The others were taken in the wild relatively close to where the kangaroos were.

- same local as the above koalas. This is a swamp wallabie while the previous is a rock wallaby.
This giant ant, about 1 inch long, was seen during our walkabout. The other 3 criteras were photographed in captivity.
