Monday, Dec. 11th
Monday and Tuesday were my Bernese Oberland days.
I was very lucky to have excellent visibility on these two days. While I was on the way to Interlaken,
I looked up from my reading and say Lake Thun . It was very beautiful with mountains in the background.
Unfortunately, I never got an opportunity to take a picture. From Klein Scheidegg it was almost entirely in a tunnel.
There were 5 minute stops for pictures via picture window portals. The weather at Jungfraujoch was
a perfect 10. The temperature was –2 C, sunny, and most of the time there was no wind.
I stayed on the top for a little more than an hour. My pictures were taken from the top of the structure,
which was reached by taking a elevator yielding an extra 100 m above the station. For skiing, Klein Scheidegg must be
used, there were no ski trails from Jungfraujoch.

When we came out of the train tunnel on the way down, it had become overcast. I was so lucky to have chosen the time
I did to be on the top. If I hadn't gone straight to the top without making any stops in Interlaken or wherever,
I would not have been so lucky.
