Photo 1 shows fanciful water sculptures that were adjacent the to Pompidou Center. The center houses a modern art museum, and fittingly, the architecture of the Centre is also modernistic. In the photos 2 and 3 you can see a "people mover" which moves people from the ground up 4 floors. The last photo shows the restaurant on the roof from which there are good views.
These photos are samples of the vast modern art that is housed in the center. It is very much a fluid display, and each time I have been I have made some new friends, but missed some old. The first photo is "Grete Prozor" by Matisse. Photo 2 shows a large mural on a wall. Photo 3 is called "rubane sans fin", a mobius strip sculpted from granite by Max Bill. The last photo is a display of nylons.
