Mini Esker Trail traverses the property in an east-west direction, providing a shortcut between Wildlife Way and Glacier Trail. Even though it is not much longer than a football field, it a favorite trail because of its glacial origin. It is located on top of a small esker which averages perhaps ten feet in height. In fact, it was more than ten years after the purchase of the land that I discovered this small esker! With hindsight, especially after the trail was cleared, the fact that it is an esker is obvious.
