Friday (9/24) - today we went up Table Mountain via a cable car and after that toured Cape Town via bus.

The Waterfront was within walking distance of our hotel.


Saturday (9/25) Cape Peninsular Tour

We stopped in Hout Bay. There were curios for sale. Some people went on a half hour curise to see seals.
3) This fur seal was swimming in the harbor, close to the dock.

During the peninsular tour we saw baboons and ostriches

We stopped at Cape Point and also the Cape of Good Hope


The African Penguins at Boulder Beach. We first had lunch in the restuarant and then visited the penguins.

Sunday 9/26
Today was the last day of the Gate1 Tour. Nothing was scheduled, so we decided to go on the City Bus Tour which went along the peninsula which allowed you to get on and off at scheduled stops.

There was intermitant rain, so we only did one main activity - Cape Bird World
