Today's drive was just a short distance south, along the coast when possible. South Head was at the end of a penisula, and Mosquito Beach was why we went out of our way. No Mosquitos. We stayed at Parakai Aquatic Park.

The next morning, our last day in New Zealand, we made another slight detour on the way to Auckland. We went to Muriwai Beach it search of the Gannet Colony.
