Oak Bluffs Camp Ground is a 34 acre "camp" settlement that has its roots in Methodist revivals. Originally the parishioners stayed in tents, but over time doll-house-like cottages were squeezed into the small lots. The owners seem to compete with each other for the cutest cottage. The last photo shows the Tabernacle church. Illumination Night at the end of the Camp Meeting season is very popular with tourists.
