THREE TOURS

We flew from Boston to Reykjavik via Iceland Air. We stayed on the outskirts of the city at Loftleider Hotel, which was owned by Iceland Air. This resulted in a relatively inexpensive vacation. Photo 1 shows the Loftleider Hotel, as taken from the Pearl, an observatory-like building situated on an adjacent hillside. Photo 2 shows the view from our hotel, looking towards a small airport (not the one we used).

To maximize our short stay in Iceland, we went on three different bus tours, all via Reykjavik Excursions.
