We left Logan at 6:45 PM on Friday, May 14.

We arrived in Paris on Saturday morning. After passing through customs in Paris, we were met by our tour guide Honore. While we were waiting for everyone to assemble, a pick pocket made off with a bag of Joan's. Not finding anything he deemed worthwhile, he abandoned the bag in an elevator. Good fortune led us to cross paths with the person who found the bag and it was returned to Joan with nothing missing!

We were taken on a bus tour of Paris that lasted for over four hours. It was an excellent overview of the sights of Paris. After the bus tour we went first class via the TGV (high speed train) to Montpellier which is on the Mediterranean. We finally arrived at the Chardonnay (our cruise ship/barge) around 10 PM and were treated to a welcome dinner.
