Lumber River State Park

Lumber River State Park is about an hour from Ash. Follow Rt 130 passed Whiteville and turn left onto SR 2225 at the sign for the state park.  There is another left turn at another sign about 4 miles down the road.

The river is very primitive in appearance even though it is relatively easy to access. It yields a peaceful feeling.
