In April we took a 1 3/4 boat trip up the Cape Fear River via Wilmington Water Tours. On the port sidewe saw the Battlship North Carolina, and on the starbord the impressive waterfront of Wilmington. Up-river there were many dead trees a result from successive dregings that have deepened the river and allowed salt water to extend further upstream.



Sandy's 83 birthday at Topsail Beach. We also stayed at the Seaview Fishing Pier and Motel in 2023.


3/23 We bought a beautiful Hutch at the Shallotte Seniors Thrft store, plus a matching table and set of chairs. A week lateer we found a sectional sofa at Habitt For Humanity.
