MUSEUMS

NATIONAL GALLERY

The National Gallery was my favorite museum in London. The musuems did not allow any photos of paintings. The following 3 paintings are by Gainsborough, Hogarth, Renyolds.

THE TATE &TATE MODERN

The Tate Museum now has a second major building, the Tate Modern. We liked both. The following photos were from the Tate Museums.

The two photos below are from the Tate Modern Museum. Photo 1 is its gallery of statues. As illustrated in photo 2, the building used to be used for generating electricity. While we were there, it had some great paintings by Matisse and Picasso.
