Miss Carol Zink, daughter of

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin link, Jr.,

21 Chester street, Ballardvale,

became the bride of Richard

Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Alvin Daniels, 12 Marion ave-

nue, Andover, on Dec. 21 at 4

p. m., in the South Church, An-

dover. The bride was given in

marriage by her father.

Rev. Frederick B. Noss, rec-

tor, officiated at the candle-

light service. The church was

decorated with aaangements of

white mums and greens. Keith

Gould was the organist.

The bride wore a silk face

peau de soie gown fashioned

with re-embroidered Alencon

lace appliques, terminating in a

chapel train. Her triple tiered

French illusion veil was draped

to a matching silk pillbox head-

piece and she carried a bou-

quet of white roses and Steph-

anotis.

Miss Martha Jane link, sis-

ter of the bride, was maid of

honor. The bridesmaids were

Miss Judith Monk of Newport,

R. I., Miss Meriby Sweet of An-

dover and Miss Barbara Hart of

Chelsea. Miss Lila Mae Davison

of Ballardvale was the flower

girl.

The blidal attendants wore

royal blue velvet street length

dresses with boat necklines,

fitted bodices and three quar-

ter length sleeves. Their skirts


were fashioned in a soft pleated

bell shape. They wore matching

velvet bow headpieces with

short veils and carried old fash-

ioned French bouquets of yellow

sweetheart roses with cascades

of Eucalyptus.

For her daughter's wedding,

Mrs. Zink chose a peacock blue

sheer wool suit with matching

hat and champagne accessories.

The mother of the bridegroom

chose an American Beauty vel-

vet costume with matching ac-

cessories accented with silver.

The best man was David Dan-

iels of North Reading, brother

of the bridegroom. The ushers

were Allen Ward, Jr., of Ando-

ver, Robert Martin of New Jer-

sey, Jay Zink, brother of the

bride, and Robert Garrison of

Andover.

A reception was held at the

Rolling Green Motor Inn, Ando-

ver, with guests present from

New Hampshire, Rhode Island,

Connecticut, Maine, New York

and New Jersey.

After a wedding trip in Can-

ada, the couple will reside at

251 Waterman street, Provi-

dence, R. I.

The bride is a graduate of

Andover High school and is a

senior at the Newton-Wellesley

School of Nursing.

The bridegroom graduated

from Andover High school and

is a senior at Brown University

at the College of Engineering.
